BEDS Plus Care provides emergency services, including overnight shelter, housing assistance, and homelessness prevention to make sure everyone has a chance to find their way home. For over 30 years, BEDS Plus has worked to reduce and end homelessness throughout Southwest Suburban Cook County.

Misericordia Heart of Mercy, located on a 31-acre campus in the Roger’s Park neighborhood of Chicago, is home to over 600 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, while also providing programs for over 200 families in the Outreach Program. Misericordia has become a national model, providing a full continuum of care, as well as offering residential placement, employment opportunities, and therapy and recreational programs. Through our dedicated families, employees, volunteers, supporters and community networks, we offer an environment that fosters each person’s independence, spirituality, dignity, respect, and quality of life.

Neighborhood Food Pantries exists to feed our neighbors with dignity and abundance. As neighbors helping neighbors, they harness the good will of community partners to make nutritious food accessible and convenient by removing barriers to access and by responding to urgent needs. They are governed by the belief that nourishing the community goes hand in hand with caring for the planet.
Since 1995, DuPage and Chicago South Suburbs Habitat for Humanity has partnered with people in our community, and all over the world, to help them build or improve a place they can call home. DuPage and Chicago South Suburbs Habitat for Humanity homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage.
H.O.M.E. DuPage, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that provides a full range of services to promote sustainable, responsible homeownership with an emphasis on serving first-time homebuyers, low- and moderate-income households, and homeowners in crisis.
